AI video generation, first attempt — novel text in, everything else by AI
An ongoing experiment: hand a novel's full text to AI and let it handle everything downstream — character design, storyboarding, image generation, lip-synced video, editing. I haven't written a single storyboard line myself.
The first project is a 16-episode drama adapted from the Lin Chong arc of Water Margin, published on an independent channel Pixel & Prompt (Andre's AI Journey), playlist "AI First Attempt."
Honestly: this is a first attempt
It wasn't a smooth ride — character costumes and looks occasionally drift between shots, and subtitle timing had its own bugs. This column isn't a highlight reel; it's the real debugging process, made public, so you can see what AI content generation can actually do today and where it still gets stuck.
